This year the Academy celebrates 60 years of supporting, developing and promoting excellence in the art forms of the moving image. As the worlds of film, television and video games have changed, the Academy has also evolved and we are now looking ahead to the next 60 years.
Mitzi Cunliffe and the BAFTA Mask
The iconic BAFTA mask was designed in 1955 by US sculptor Mitzi Cunliffe and has become an internationally recognised symbol of excellence in the art forms of the moving image.
